Single sign-on is a feature requested by many corporate clients and
because of the vast difference in behavior of logging in with single
sign-on, its not something that can be nicely supported side-by-side
with conventional sign-on. The solution is a single sign-on plugin.
There exists a standard called SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)
designed for single-sign on. We shall design this plugin to be compliant
with this standard. More information can be found on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAML.
